Change Brakes and Rotors
Step One
Jack up the car using a jack and place jackstands underneath. Allow the car to rest on the jackstands by slowly releasing the jack. The jackstands serve as a place keeper as you service the brake pads and remove the tires.
Step Two
Remove all four tires by loosening the lug nuts.
Remove two bolts that are holding the brake caliper. This should allow you access to the brake pads.
Remove the old brake pad and replace with the new one.
Step Three
Tighten the bolts that hold the brake caliper.
Replace the tires and tighten the lug nuts.
Jack up the car high enough to slide out the jackstands. Once all jackstands are removed, slowly lower the car back to the ground
