Oil Change
Step One
Jack up the car using a jack and place jackstands underneath to secure your safety. Allow the car to rest on the jackstands by slowly releasing the jack. The jackstands serve as a place keeper as you service underneath the vehicle.
Step Two
Remove the drain plug (size of the bolts vary per vehicle model).
The oil will start to release. Let all oil drain out until it is no longer dripping. Then remove the oil filter by twisting it to the left direction.
Lightly lubricate the oil ring for the new filter with new clean oil.
Step Three
Place the new filter in and tighten by twisting it to the right direction.
Put the drain plug back into place and tighten it to torque specs.
Locate your valve cover on the enginge. Remove the oil cap and fill with the amount of quarts necessary for your vehicle.
